心おどる春がやってまいりました。
気持ちのいい4月の風が首筋を撫で、もう後戻りしない確かなぬくもりが感じられる頃。この季節になりますと、お気に入りのお茶室へ伺うのが楽しみです。

Spring has arrived when I feel a pleasant April breeze caressing my neck. I know then that the cold days are gone and spring has fully arrived. It is this time of year that I like to go to one of my favorite tea houses in Kyoto.

令人內心蕩漾的春天來了。 當四月宜人的微風輕撫過我脖子時，我知道寒冬已經離去。這個季節一到，就會期待去造訪我最喜歡的茶室。

Le printemps arrive quand je sens une agréable brise d’avril caresser ma nuque. Je sais alors que les jours frisquets sont passés et que le printemps est apparu. C’est à cette époque de l’année que j’aime me rendre dans l’une de mes maisons de thé préférées à Kyoto.

銀閣寺近くの白沙村荘・橋本関雪記念館の倚翠亭（いすいてい）がそのひとつ。ふだんは非公開ですが、蓮池を眺めながらのお茶席に招かれたり、お茶会をさせていただいたりする時などは心弾みます。

It is called Isuitei and located at the Hashimoto Kansetsu Museum near the Silver Pavilion. It is usually closed to the public, but when I am invited there or to have a tea ceremony overlooking the lotus pond, I am delighted.

其中之一是銀閣寺附近的白沙村莊，畫家橋本關雪紀念館的倚翠亭/Isuitei，這茶室通常沒有對一般公眾開放。每當我有機會在那裡辦茶會，或是被邀去參加茶會、可以俯瞰蓮花池總讓我很興奮。

Il s’appelle Isuitei et se trouve au musée Hashimoto Kansetsu, près du pavillon d’argent. Il est généralement fermé au public, mais lorsque j’y suis invitée ou que je participe à une cérémonie du thé avec vue sur l’étang de lotus, je suis ravie.

春はもてなしたり、もてなされたりする機会が多くなる季節ですね。 千年以上にわたり都であった京都は、客人をもてなすことに長けていると感じます。

Spring is the season for entertaining and being entertained. This is something the people of Kyoto have learned and become skilled at over their over 1,000 year history.

春天這個季節有很多機會可以款待客人或被款待。 我認為已建都一千多年的京都，對於款待客人之道早已嫻熟。

Le printemps est la saison pour se distraire et se réjouir. C’est un phénomène que les habitants de Kyoto apprennent et maîtrisent au cours de leur histoire qui dure depuis 1000 ans.

「もてなす」ということは、いけばなや茶の湯、着物といった伝統芸術や文化の根幹をなすものだと思っております。花を活けてもてなしの空間をつくる、お茶を点てて客人をもてなす。

This is at the heart of Japanese traditional art and culture, such as Ikebana, tea ceremony, and kimono. It has become a high heart to create a space for hospitality by arranging flowers, and entertaining guests by making tea.

我相信「款待客人」是花道、茶道、和服等傳統藝術文化的精神核心。 以花來營造待客空間，以茶款待客人。

L’Ikebana, la cérémonie du thé et le kimono se trouvent au cœur de l’art et de la culture traditionnelle japonaise. Créer un espace d’hospitalité en arrangeant des fleurs et en divertissant les invités en préparant le thé, c’est montrer son grand cœur.

着物も、文様でお祝いの気持ちをあらわしたり、相手へ心を寄せる装いそのものが、ささやかな、あるいは秘めたおもてなしになっていますね。

The kimono is also used to express congratulatory feelings through special patterns and to convey one’s heart to the other people. The art of kimono is a humble and delicate way of expressing hospitality and intimate feelings.

透過穿著特殊圖案的和服，也可藉此向客人表達祝福的心情，這是一種低調而精緻的款待方式。

Le kimono est également utilisé pour exprimer des sentiments de félicitations à travers des motifs spéciaux et pour transmettre son cœur aux autres personnes. L’art du kimono est une manière humble et délicate d’exprimer l’hospitalité et les sentiments intimes.

自分を相手に添わせ、心を配るさり気なさがゆかしいのでしょう。受けとる側が「もしかしてそうなのかな？」と想像するくらいがちょうどいい。あとで感じとったり、わずかなおもてなしの余韻を楽しんだりして。「気付いてくれたら幸いです」というくらいのスタンスがいいのでしょうね。

Maybe it’s the subtle and causal modesty with which one creates a mood of hospitality that inspires a vaguely indescribable sense of satisfaction in the guest. It may come later, when the guest looks back and feels a sense of fondness for the occasion. It is enough of an attitude “I am happy if you noticed it as a host.”

用一種自在的方式細心關注客人，營造一種熱情好客的氛圍。被接待者會開心地感覺 : 「我真的被很用心的接待了!」 之後回味被細心款待而感受到快樂的餘韻。 我認為如果主人能營造一種「如果你注意到了，我會很高興」 這樣的待客餘韻是很好的。

C’est peut-être la modestie subtile et causale avec laquelle on crée une atmosphère d’hospitalité qui inspire à l’invité un sentiment de satisfaction difficilement indescriptible. Cela peut venir plus tard, lorsque l’invité regarde en arrière et ressent un sentiment d’affection pour l’occasion. Il suffit d’une attitude “Je suis heureux si vous l’avez remarqué en tant qu’hôte”.

茶道を教えていた祖母が授けてくれたことを、折にふれ思い出します。「おもてなし」は、もてなす側はもちろん、むしろ、もてなされる側にこそ相手を思う気持ちが大切なのだと。

My grandmother was a master of tea ceremony and she taught me that when providing hospitality it is important not only for the person entertaining, but that the guest as well thinks of others, plays an important role in creating the mood and atmosphere.

有時我會想起茶道大師的祖母教我的道理。 茶席中主人招待客人，熱情好客固然重要，但更重要的是，身為客人要表現得是好客人。對主人而言，客人也能夠反以待客之心為其他來客著想，這對茶會進行的氛圍是非常重要的。

Ma grand-mère était maître de cérémonie du thé et elle m’a appris une chose essentielle: lorsqu’on offre l’hospitalité, c’est important non seulement pour la personne qui reçoit, mais aussi pour l’invité qui pense aux autres, de jouer un rôle significatif dans la création, l’ambiance et l’atmosphère.

もてなされる側の「客ぶり」。
お茶席では「一緒にその場を創りあげていく関係」として、もてなされる側にこそセンスが必要であり、その力量を評価する言葉として「客ぶりがいい」と申します。受け身でいいわけではないのです。

The word “Kyakuburi” is used to describe “the behavior of the guest.” At a tea ceremony, it is best when not only the host but also the guests have a good sense of hospitality, and the best ceremonies happen when everyone adds to create the atmosphere of the occasion. The term “good Kyakuburi” is used to describe this ability to add to the ambience. It is not enough to be a passive guest.

即使是「客人」「客ぶり」/Kyakuburi *也能夠熱情對待其他的客人。在茶席上，不僅僅是主人，客人同時也要有待客之心，最好的儀式是主人和客人合力營造「共同創造這個場域的美好關係」的感覺。若要當一個「好客人」，單單只是做一個被動的客人是不夠的。

*「客ぶり」/Kyakuburi一詞用於描述“作為客人的行為”

Le mot “Kyakuburi” est utilisé pour décrire “le comportement de l’invité”. Lors d’une cérémonie du thé, il est préférable que, non seulement l’hôte mais aussi les invités, aient un bon sens de l’hospitalité. Les meilleures cérémonies se produisent lorsque tout le monde contribue à l’atmosphère. Le terme “bon Kyakuburi” est utilisé pour décrire cette capacité à contribuer à l’ambiance. Il ne suffit pas d’être un invité passif.

ヨーロッパのプレスでPRを担当しているフランス人の友人が、VIPをご招待するパーティーで、席次を決めることが一苦労なのだと申しておりました。それを聞いた時に、日本文化は特異だなぁと思ったことがございます。

A French friend of mine who is in charge of PR for a major European company told me that at parties in which she invites VIPs, it is very hard to decide the seating arrangements. When I heard this, I thought how it is so different from Japanese tea ceremonial occasions.

我有一個在歐洲媒體公司負責公關的法國朋友曾經表示，每次貴賓聚會要安排座位總是很困難。 當我聽到這句話時時，我更感受到日本文化的獨特性。

Une de mon amie française, responsable des relations publiques d’une grande entreprise européenne, m’a dit que lorsqu’elle organisait des fêtes avec ses VIP, il lui était très difficile de décider de la disposition des sièges. Quand j’ai entendu cela, j’ai pensé que c’était très différent des cérémonies japonaises du thé.

お茶会では、亭主は「客」がお茶室に入ってくる時、お接待のためにそこにはおりません。客が勝手に入ってこられて、席次も客同士で決めます。これは大変な違いだと思いました。無責任ということではなくて、客として招かれたという自覚がそこにあるのでしょう。

At a tea ceremony, when the guests enter the tea room the host is not there to greet them. The guests come in on their own accord and the seating arrangement is decided among the guests. Guests are aware that they have been invited as guests.

在茶會上，當「客人」進入茶室時，座位順序由客人自己決定，主人並不會在那裡迎接他們。 我認為這是文化上很大的不同， 不是主人不負責任，而是讓客人有自覺是被邀請為客人。

Pendant une cérémonie du thé, lorsque les invités entrent dans la pièce dédiée à cela,
l’hôte n’est pas là pour les accueillir. Les invités entrent de leur propre chef et la disposition des assises est décidée entre les invités. Les invités sont conscients qu’ils ont été accueillis en tant qu’hôtes.

招かれた方も、なんとなしに人格や品格、教養などをもって、招いて下さった方への心配りをする。そういう思いやりの気配が、日本人の文化には根付いているのだなと思いました。

Those who are invited to a tea ceremony in this way show an added sensitivity and appreciation to their host. This is expressed in subtle ways by the words, mannerisms, dress and the aura of their demeanor. This care for form and manner in order to create a delicate atmosphere is very much a part of Japanese culture.

那些來參加茶會的客人也會思考他們之所以被邀請，是因為他們的個性、品格、教養和文化的考量。客人會透過他們的言辭、舉止、著裝，以微妙的方式對茶會的主人表現出額外的感激之情。我認為日本人有很多這樣的思維，很大程度上是日本文化的一部分。

Les personnes invitées à une cérémonie de thé font preuve d’une sensibilité et d’une appréciation accrues à l’égard de leur hôte de cette manière. Cela s’exprime de manière subtile par des mots, des manières, des vêtements et l’aura de leur comportement. Ce soin apporté aux formes et aux cérémonieux afin de créer une atmosphère délicate, fait partie intégrante de la culture japonaise.

ことさら伝統文化が育まれてきた京都は、「もてなし、もてなされの”妙”」が息づいているのでしょう。

Kyoto, in particular, is a place where this kind of traditional culture has been nurtured. So the ultimate in being able to receive hospitality is to be able to contribute to creating an atmosphere of hospitality.

京都尤其是孕育這種傳統文化的地方，不論是待客或被款待的「奧妙」之處至今依然鮮明存在。

Kyoto, en particulier, est un lieu où ce type de culture traditionnelle a été entretenu. Le summum pour recevoir est donc de pouvoir contribuer à créer une atmosphère d’hospitalité.

かつて平安の昔より景勝の地として知られた粟田。貴族は競ってこの地に住もうとしたといいます。
そしてその粟田の地に、古（いにしえ）より皇室とゆかりがある「青蓮院（しょうれんいん）門跡」はあります。

Awata was once known as a place of scenic beauty since the Heian era (794-1185). The nobility longed to live here. The secluded temple, Shorenin Monzeki, which has been associated with the imperial family since ancient times, is located here in Awata.

粟田/Awata自平安時代以來就是著名的名勝古蹟地。 據說貴族爭相在此居住。自古就與皇室牽繫在一起的僻靜寺院青蓮院門跡*/Shorenin Monzeki,就坐落於此。

*門跡寺院: 貴族或皇室成員居住的寺廟

Awata était autrefois connu comme un lieu de beauté scénique depuis la période Heian (794-1185). La noblesse se languissait d’y vivre. Le temple isolé, Shorenin Monzeki, associé à la famille impériale depuis les temps anciens, se trouve ici à Awata.

光と影がおりなす美。自然と一体化し、風雅の真髄をきわめる陰翳礼讃。

The beauty of light and shadow, in harmony with nature, this is the quintessence of feeling a sense of praise for the delicate feelings felt in darkness and shadows.

光影之美，與自然融為一體，這就是讚嘆幽暗和陰影中細膩風雅的本質。

La beauté de l’ombre et de la lumière, en harmonie avec la nature, voilà la quintessence de l’éloge des sentiments délicats ressentis dans l’obscurité et les ombres.

格式の高い門跡寺院でありながら、伝統と現代アートが融合し、不思議と調和のとれた落ち着く客殿。

Although a temple of great prestige with ties to the emperor’s family, the guest halls exhibit a soothing and elegant fusion of tradition and modernity that is strangely harmonious.

雖然是與皇室息息相關久負盛名的門跡寺院，但客房卻呈現出一種舒緩優雅，傳統與現代的融合，出奇的和諧。

Bien qu’il s’agisse d’un temple de grand prestige lié à la famille de l’empereur, les salles des visiteurs présentent une fusion apaisante et élégante de tradition et de modernité qui est étrangement harmonieuse.

こちらで腰を下ろして、相阿弥作と伝わる庭園を眺めていますと、じつに静かで繊細な時が流れてゆきます。

I like to sit here and gaze at the garden, which was created by the great garden architect Soami. I can feel here the passage of time in a very quiet and delicate way.

我喜歡坐在這裡，凝視著據說是相阿彌*/Soami親手打造的庭園，時光在這裡以一種非常寧靜和細緻的方式流逝了。

*相阿彌是室町時代 (約1500年) 的畫家及園林建築師

J’aime m’asseoir ici et contempler le jardin, qui a été créé par le grand architecte Soami. Je peux sentir ici le passage du temps d’une manière très reposée et délicate.

まるで一服の絵画のように見事な庭園。翡翠色の池に浮かぶ大きな石の姿は、沐浴する龍の背にたとえられています。

The garden is stunning and resembles a classical Japanese painting. The large stones floating in the jade-colored pond resemble the back of a bathing dragon.

如畫的花園令人驚嘆。翡翠色的池塘中看起來漂浮著的大石，宛如沐浴中的龍背。

Le jardin est magnifique et ressemble à une œuvre d’art japonaise classique. Les grandes pierres qui flottent sur l’étang couleur jade ressemblent au dos d’un dragon qui se baigne.

平安時代をしのぶ、典雅な御簾越し。

The elegant bamboo blind is reminiscent of the Heian era.

優雅的竹簾，讓人想起平安時代。

L’élégant paravent transparent en bambou rappelle l’ère Heian.

青蓮院は、春と秋の夜には美しくライトアップされます。
ご本尊が光そのものであり、その化身も炎の光を背負っていて、光とのご縁が深いからだそう。

In spring and fall, the temple is beautifully illuminated. This is because Shoren-in’s main deity is light itself, and its incarnation as a deity which bears a flaming light, and thus one feels a deep connection with light.

青蓮院在春天和秋天會特別安排夜間點燈。 這是因為青蓮院的本尊*形象是光的本身，它的化身也承載著火光，與光有著深厚的關聯。

*本尊青不動明王，大日如來的化身是不動明王。「明」即為智慧光芒之意， 周身火焰。

Au printemps et en automne, le temple est magnifiquement illuminé. Cela s’explique par le fait que la principale divinité de Shoren-in est la lumière elle-même, et son incarnation, en tant que divinité, porte une lumière flamboyante, on ressent donc une profonde connexion avec la lumière.

闇に浮かんでは消える木々や花々の幽玄な世界、光のなかで雄大な力を感じる大クスノキ、青く光る静清な竹林、苔庭の海に浮かぶ光の星。
夜空に光の束となって駆けあがっていくような…。美しさに息をのみました。

The ethereal world of trees and flowers floating in and out of the darkness, a giant camphor tree that exudes majestic power in the light, a tranquil bamboo forest glowing blue, and stars of light floating in a sea of moss garden. The beauty of the way they seemed to rush up into the night sky as a bundle of light took my breath away.

在黑暗裡看消失的神秘花木世界，巨大樟樹在投射光中磅礴展現，寧靜竹林透出青藍色光，星光漂浮閃爍在青苔花園的碧海中，並且在夜空中有一束束光芒衝上星空，如此之美讓我驚嘆。

Le monde éthéré des arbres et des fleurs qui flottent dans et hors de l’obscurité, un camphrier géant qui dégage une puissance majestueuse dans la lumière, une forêt de bambou tranquille qui brille en bleu, et des étoiles de lumière qui flottent dans une mer de jardin de mousse. La beauté de la façon dont elles semblaient se précipiter dans le ciel nocturne comme un faisceau de lumière m’a coupé le souffle.

この日は、正倉院文様が描かれた着物を着ました。
聖武天皇ゆかりの品々が数多く残されているのが正倉院。「門跡寺院」を訪れるのにと、思いが重なったのです。

「花喰鳥（はなくいどり）」に「花うさぎ」や「花鹿」、「宝相華」という空想上のお花が散りばめられ、異国情緒あふれる着物。

I wore a kimono with a Shosoin pattern. Shosoin is the Imperial storehouse of antiquities built in the Nara era (710-794). It contains many objects related to the emperor, so I thought this kimono would be appropriate for a visit to Shoren-in because of the Imperial connection.

The kimono is full of exoticism, with “flower-eating birds”, “flower rabbits” and “flower deer”, and imaginary flowers called “Housouge” scattered throughout.

我穿了一件有正倉院*圖案的和服。正倉院留下許多與聖武天皇有關的文物品，所以我認為適合穿著它參觀「門跡寺院」的青蓮院。
*正倉院是建於奈良時代（710-794）的皇家古物倉庫。

充滿異國情調的和服中有「食花鳥」、「花鹿」、「寶相華」/ Hosoge等想像的花朵遍佈在和服各處。

Je portais un kimono avec un motif Shosoin. Shosoin est l’entrepôt impérial d’antiquités construit à l’époque de Nara (710-794). Il contient de nombreux objets liés à l’empereur. J’ai donc pensé que ce kimono serait approprié pour une visite à Shoren-in en raison du lien avec l’Empire.

Le kimono est plein d’exotisme, avec des “oiseaux mangeurs de fleurs”, des “lapins-fleurs” et des “cerfs-fleurs”, ainsi que des fleurs imaginaires appelées “Housouge” disséminées un peu partout.

帯も正倉院文様で、相良刺繍とスワトウ刺繍にてあらわされています。
品格のある文様と刺繍が紬地に施されたつややかな色の名古屋帯を、小紋にあわせて装いました。

The Obi sash is also a Shosoin pattern with Sagara and Swatow embroidery. Although it is an Obi sash with a prestigious design and embroidery, it has the same pattern as the kimono, but I dared to match it with the kimono.

和服腰帶也是正倉院圖案，是相良刺繡*和斯瓦托刺繡*的組合。 雖然它有華麗的圖案和費工的刺繡，但它是名古屋腰帶。 縱然它和和服的圖案一樣，但我仍以觀看全貌的感覺來搭配和服。

*相良刺繡又稱打籽繡或結子繡。相良刺繡在漢朝便已存在，後來傳到日本。以刺繡形成一粒粒小線疙瘩有如綢緞上綴著的珍珠，奈良時代用於佛像的螺髮部分。
*斯瓦托刺繡起源於中國廣東省東部城鎮汕頭的一種刺繡，中國三大刺繡之一，是一種鏤空刺繡，通 過裁剪織物來表達獨特的刺繡。

La ceinture Obi est également un motif Shosoin avec des broderies Sagara et Swatow. Bien qu’il s’agisse d’une ceinture Obi au motif et à la broderie prestigieuses, elle a le même motif que le kimono, mais j’ai osé l’assortir au kimono.

池の翡翠色と思いもかけずに美しく共鳴したのは、祖母から譲り受けた翡翠の指輪。

The jade ring, which unexpectedly resonated with the jade color of the pond, came from my grandmother.

出乎意料地能夠與池塘的翡翠色產生共鳴的翡翠戒指，是從祖母那裡繼承來的

La bague en jade, qui résonnait de manière inattendue avec la couleur jade de l’étang, venait de ma grand-mère.

鳳凰が着物から羽ばたち、舞い降りたかのよう！

It is as if a phoenix has fluttered out and landed on the kimono!

從壁畫上好像有一隻飛舞出來的鳳凰，牠的羽毛彷彿飄落在和服上了！

C’est comme si un phénix s’était envolé et avait atterri sur le kimono!

おもてなしにおいて「寄り添う」という美しい言葉は、寄り添っても失われない自分があるからできることでしょう。むしろ、自分がちゃんとあるから相手に心を添わせられるのですね。

I think that coming physically close to someone can be done because there is a part of oneself whose awareness is heightened. Rather, you are able to attend to another person with your heart because you have a heightened sense of self.

我認為「依偎」是個美麗的詞彙，因為有一個可以依偎的對象不會迷失自我。因此，當自我的意識得以提昇時，才有能力善待他人。

Je pense que l’on peut se rapprocher physiquement de quelqu’un parce qu’il y a une partie de soi dont la conscience est accrue. En fait, on est capable de s’occuper d’une autre personne avec son cœur parce qu’on a une conscience accrue de soi.

青蓮院から北へ向かい、永観堂のほど近くに佇む、本当は内緒にしたい御菓子屋さんです。お茶会で頂いてから、お気に入りのお店となりました。

There is a Japanese confectionery shop located north of Shoren-in whose name I want to keep secret. It has become my favorite place to go for sweets and tea.

從青蓮院再往北邊走，有一家位於永觀堂附近的和菓子店，這家店名容我保密。參加茶會後，這裡是我最喜歡去的店。

Il y a une confiserie japonaise située au nord de Shoren-in dont je veux garder le nom secret. C’est devenu mon endroit préféré pour aller chercher des sucreries et du thé.

ひっそりとゆれる暖簾をくぐって、石畳を進むと、古いお屋敷の面影を残す趣きあるお店にいきあたります。美しいお庭には、ちょうど満開の枝垂れ梅がほころんでいました。

Passing through the quietly swinging curtain, one walks along a cobblestone path and arrives at an atmospheric shop that retains the appearance of an old mansion. In the beautiful garden there were weeping plum trees that were in full bloom.

穿過靜靜搖曳的暖簾，沿著石板路走，來到一家保留著古宅遺蹟古色古香的小店。 美麗的花園裡，有盛開的垂枝梅！

En passant à travers le rideau qui se balance tranquillement, on marche sur un chemin pavé et on arrive à une boutique atmosphérique qui conserve l’apparence d’un vieux manoir. Dans le beau jardin, il y avait des pruniers pleureurs en pleine floraison.

レトロモダンな雰囲気に包まれたサロンで、わらび餅と桜餅をいただきました。
淡い甘みと素材感がおりなす豊かな奥行きは、上質感にあふれています。

In the retro-modern ambience of the salon, I tasted Warabi-mochi (bracken-starch jelly) and Sakura-mochi (rice cake with cherry blossom flavor). The rich depth of the light sweetness and the texture of the ingredients were of the finest quality.

我們在又傳統又現代氛圍包圍的沙龍里吃了蕨麻糬（蕨菜粉）和櫻花麻糬（櫻花味年糕）。淡淡的甜味和豐富的口感是最優質的。

Dans l’ambiance rétro-moderne du salon, j’ai goûté le Warabi-mochi (gelée d’amidon de fougère) et le Sakura-mochi (gâteau de riz au goût de fleur de cerisier). La profondeur riche de la douceur légère et la texture des ingrédients étaient de la plus haute qualité.

お店を営まれているご婦人が「なにか音楽を…」とかけて下さったのは、シューベルトの『アヴェ・マリア』。この曲には優しい思い出がつまっていて、胸がいっぱいになりました。ご婦人に、なぜこの曲を選ばれたのですか？と伺うと「きっと、なにかが引き寄せたのね」と…。

The matron who runs the shop asked me if I’d like to hear some music and she played Schubert’s “Ave Maria”. This song is one of my favorites and filled my heart with such tender memories. I asked her, “why did you choose this music? She said, “Something inspired me to play it for you.”

舒伯特的“Ave Maria” 《聖母頌》是這店的女主人為我挑選的演奏音樂。這首歌是我的最愛之一，心裡充滿了溫柔的回憶。 當我問她，你為什麼會為我挑這首歌？ 她說，「有一種靈感指引了我…」。

La matrone qui dirige la boutique m’a demandé si je voulais entendre de la musique et elle a joué “Ave Maria” de Schubert. Cette musique est l’une de mes préférées et a rempli mon cœur de souvenirs si tendres. Je lui ai demandé : “Pourquoi avez-vous choisi cette musique ? Elle a répondu : “Quelque chose m’a inspiré et je l’ai mise pour vous”.
